Duff, Alex 69 of Hazelwood. Passed peacefully with his family by his side on Sunday November 5, 2017. Alex is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Patricia (Furlong) Duff. Proceeded in death by his beloved parents Thomas and Elizabeth Duff and In-laws Patrick and Sally Furlong. Brother of Margaret (Ken) Hutzler, John Duff, and Elizabeth (Tom) Kelly, and the late Thomas G. Duff. Also survived by Sister-in Law Janice (Steve) Murphy and Brother-in-law Patrick Furlong. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews Alex was a proud Navy Veteran who served aboard the USS Independence. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-7P.M. in the Edward P .Kanai Funeral Home, 500 Greenfield Ave 15207. Funeral Thursday at 915 A.M with funeral mass at 10 A.M. at St Stephen Church. In lieu of flowers the family has asked donations be made to St Stephen Catholic Church 5115 Second Ave. Pgh, Pa 15229.
