Maffeo, Florence A. (Castiglione) on Sunday August 7, 2016. Age 87. Born in Oakland and Formerly of Greenfield. Beloved wife of 68 years to the late Robert J. Maffeo. Loving mother of Roseann (Steve) Stefan of West Mifflin, Robert Jr. (Karen) Maffeo, and Roberta Maffeo of California who all took exceptional care as her health declined. Also survived by a daughter Angela Hall of Dravosburg. Sister of James Castiglione, Francis Castiglione, and the late Louis Castiglione, and Giovanna Pugliese. Also survived by 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Friday From 2-8 PM in the Edward P. Kanai Funeral Home, 500 Greenfield Ave. where a Blessing Service will be held at 6 PM. Interment will be private. The family wishes to thank Mary Zugel, Theresa Flaig, and the staff of Sivitz Hospice for their extraordinary compassion in their care of both our parents.
