Unexpectedly, on Thursday, October 6, 2016, age 75, of Greenfield. Beloved husband of Elizabeth L. "Betsy" (Murphy) Bird; father of Terry Bird, John (Maureen "Beannie") Sabol, and the late Joseph Sabol; "Pap" of Lexxie, Jena, Matthew, Morgan, and Mackenzie; brother of Barbara Manelli and the late Albert Bird; also survived by nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Sunday 1-8 p.m. in the EDWARD P. KANAI FUNERAL HOME, 500 Greenfield Ave. where a Blessing Service will be held on Sunday at 7:30 p.m.
