Hahalyak, Michael A. Suddenly on February 3, 2017. Age 57 of Greenfield passed peacefully at a Veterans facility. Beloved father of Deana and Michelle. Grandfather of Hailee. Son of the late Edward and Rose Marie (Labishak) Hahalyak. Brother of Marilyn (Tom) Leonard and the late Edward G. Hahalyak. Uncle of Ed (Gina) Leonard, Beth (George) Pavlic, Kate Leonard, Jamie (Dave) Ousterout, and Monica (Josh) Hartle. Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. As a child he served as altar boy at St. Rosalia, a newspaper boy and Cub Scout, he also did service in the United State Marine Corp, working throughout his life as a laborer in construction. Friends will be received on Wednesday February 15, 2017 from 10 AM until time of Blessing Service at 12 Noon in the Edward P. Kanai Funeral Home, 500 Greenfield Ave. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. The family would like to thank the Veterans hospital for their years of care for Michael.
