So sorry to hear of Mr. Solan's passing. My father, William Gallagher (deceased 2015) worked with Mike at the Post Office many years and I remember him speaking of him. Prayers & sympathy to the family.

I remember Mike fondly. I met him in the late 1950's at a VA medical center where he was recovering from an injury. He was young, handsome and energetic. He reminded me of my father who was also a Vet. In the summer of 1971, my new wife and I visited Mike and Margie in Pittsburgh. He was a US postman. They were happy and optimistic, an attractive couple. We had a great time visiting with them. We were happy that they were family. Later, life dealt him a bad hand with Margie's passing.
