Kincaid, Gene (McNamee) passed peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday October 15, 2017. Age 93, of Greenfield. Beloved wife of the late Charles C. Kincaid. Devoted mother of Teresa (the late Junior) Heberling, Jeanmarie (Tim) Lynch, Raymond (the late Diane) Kincaid, Patricia Gamble, and Daniel (Jamie) Kincaid. Cherished “Grandma Gene” to Paula, Tim, Holly, Becky, Francie, Jon, Kelly, Scott, Emily, and Ray. Sister of Mary Kay McNamee, and the late James, Agnes, Joseph, William, and Margie. Great grandmother of 13, and 2 deceased. Gene was a retired employee of Allegheny County, serving as County Supervisor 1968-1990, A Veteran of the US Marine Corps in WWII., and served as 15th ward Democratic Committee Chairman 1974- 1990. Her Service to Allegheny County was widely renowned and respected. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2-8 p.m. in the Edward P. Kanai Funeral Home, 500 Greenfield Ave. Funeral Thursday at 11:30 followed by Funeral Mass in the St. Rosalia Church at 12 Noon. Gene will be interred with her husband in St. Benedict Cemetery, Carrolltown, PA.
