Bumford,Richard Lee “Bum” 47 of Greenfield. Departed this life on Sunday September 3, 2017. Beloved son of Darlene Batko and Ray Bumford (Deceased) and Stepfather Ray Batko. Brother of Brian Batko and father to Joshua and Nathan. Former husband of Kristen Katanick and in-laws Richard and Sandy Katanick. Also survived by many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. Rich was the owner of National Fitness in Maryland. He led a very colorful and adventurous 47 years and had many loyal friends. He will be sadly missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing him. To sum up Rich’s life from a quote by Katherine Hepburn... “If you obey all the rules, you’ll miss all the fun!!!” God Bless! Friends will be received on Friday from 2-8 P.M. in the Edward P. Kanai Funeral Home, 500 Greenfield Ave. A blessing service will be held on Saturday at 12 noon in the funeral home.
