Kolesar, William “Scatchy”, peacefully, after a brief illness, on Thursday, September 27, 2018. Age 88 of “The Run” in Greenfield. Beloved husband of 63 years to Arlene (O’Shanick) Kolelar. Loving father of William (Diane) Kolesar, Joyce (Anthony) Cortopassi, Barbara (Patrickd) Hill, David (Donna) Kolesar and Beverly (James) Bower. Special “Pap Pap” to Jason, Rachel, Emily, Jennifer, E.J., Isaac and Zachary. Brother of the late Michael, John, Peter, Edward, George and Julia Kolesar, Ann Milan, Mary Langol, Emma Zaborchar, Helen Joseph and Pauline Saaarela. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Sunday 11-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the Edward P. Kanai Funeral Home, 500 Greenfield Avenue. Funeral Monday at 8:30 a.m. followed by Great Parastas in St. John Chrysostom B. C. Church at 9:00 a.m. Interment with Military Honors will be in Calvary Cemetery.
