Vanselow, William J., On Sunday July 1, 2018. Age 93, of Greenfield. Beloved husband of 68 years to Ida “Tootie” (Murphy) Vanselow. Loving father of Alida (Bill) Chornyak, Celeste Cherevka, Janine (Jim) Hanley, and William (Susan) Vanselow Jr. Grandfather of Bob Cherevka, Cathleen Cherevka, Bill Vanselow III, Matt Chornyak, Jim (Emily) Hanley III, Kristen (Paul) Beatty, Erin (Marshall) Claycamp, Colleen (Bernie) Chmiel, and Jessica Vanselow. Great grandfather of Aiden, Nora, Miles, Jamie, Lily, Guerin, and Greyson. Son of the late Walter and Mary Dunn Vanselow. Brother of the late Walter, Edward Vanselow, and Betty Jean Mutschler. Brother in law of Aleatha “Bebe” Ossler. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Vanselow was a veteran of D-Day serving in the US Navy. Friends will be received Wednesday 2-4, 6-8 p.m. in the Edward P. Kanai Funeral Home, 500 Greenfield Ave. Funeral Thursday at 11:30 a.m. followed by Funeral Mass in St. Rosalia Church at 12 Noon.
