Agnes McConnell

McConnell Agnes 92 of Greenfield. Passed away on Tuesday, January 30th, 2024. Preceded in death by her parents, John and Irene McConnell; brother, John “Jack” (Mary) McConnell; sister, Irene; and niece, Janet Ann McConnell. Survived by her niece, Renee (Dan) Thimoleas; nephew, Jerry (Kathleen) McConnell; great nieces and nephew, Stacey (Jim) Good, Tyler (Mimi) McConnell, Madison (Alex) McConnell; grandnephew and nieces, Jacob, Jacklynn, Arden, and Charlotte and her beloved pups. Agnes attended JM Logan and Greenfield schools. She graduated from Taylor Allderdice in 1949. After graduation she began her career with the Board of Education. In 1957 she was hired by the US Steel Cooperation. Where she was a dedicated employee until she retired in 1986. After retiring she travelled with her beloved sister, Irene and dedicated her life to caring for her family. In 2001 she moved to Gibsonia to care for her grandnephew and niece, she was lovingly known by all as Aunt Ag and loved by everyone who met her. A Funeral will be held Saturday at 1030 a.m. in St. Paul Cathedral Parish —St. Rosalia Worship Site.
