Almira Marie (Shaw) Pischke, 94, beloved wife of the late Andrew Pischke, Sr., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 surrounded by her loved ones.
She is survived by her loving daughter Amy Grieneisen, son Andrew Pischke, Jr., and daughter Andrea Bartley, much loved granddaughters, Amber (T.J.) Schuch, Shelby (John Blomstrom) Grieneisen, and Kellie Grieneisen, sister of Vivian Carnprobst, Dorothy Bartolomeo, Naomi Fitzhenry, and the late Fred, Frank, George, Marion Burgess, Scott, Donna Baxter, and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Almira was a devoted volunteer and former President of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW Post #274 with 10,000+ volunteer hours of service.
Friends will be received on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in The Edward P. Kanai Funeral Home, 500 Greenfield Ave. 15207. Funeral Monday at 9:30 a.m. in the Funeral Home. Followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Paul Cathedral Parish—St. Rosalia Worship Site.
