Bruno Palmieri, 88 of Greenfield, passed peacefully on Tuesday, May 26. Preceded in death by his beloved wife Mary Lou (Murphy) Palmieri, children Mary Lou and Danny Martin, siblings Frank (Petrina) Palmieri, Edward (Florence) Palmieri and Adelmo "Al" (Flora) Palmieri. Survived by his loving daughter Karen Palmieri, grandson Danny (Libby) Martin; great grandchildren Danica Martin, Oliver and Lucy Davis, also many nieces, nephews and cousins. Bruno served in the Navy on the USS Intrepid. Also very hard working Bruno had a wonderful career as an experienced electrician in Pittsburgh. He was very dedicated to the church and the entire Greenfield community. Above all his greatest pride and joy was being a very loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
Friends will be received on Monday from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm in The Edward P. Kanai Funeral Home 500 Greenfield Ave. 15207. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday at the St Paul Cathedral St Rosalia worship site at 10am. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to St. Jude Children's research foundation.
