Darlene “Dar”Opalko, 77 of Fombell formerly of Greenfield. Passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Sunday December 25, 2022. Preceded in death by her beloved parents Edward and Grace Humenik. Survived by her loving husband of 57 years Andrew “Butch” Oplako. Beloved children Edward (Ellen) Opalko, Kristine (Dan) Hirschfeld, Kim (Joe) Opalko-Smolock, Andy (Catherine) Opalko, and Darcie (Steve Barton) Opalko. Beloved grandchildren James, Eddie, Josh, Nathaniel, Zachary, Jonathan, and Patrick. Dar is also survived by her sisters Della Ballas and Donna Bowling. Friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. in the Edward P. Kanai Funeral Home 500 Greenfield Ave. 15207. Funeral Friday at 9:30 A.M. in the funeral home. With funeral mass at 10 A.M. at St Paul Cathedral parish St Rosalia Worship Site.
