David Paul McSwigan Sr.

David Paul McSwigan age 87, formerly of Squirrel Hill. Passed peacefully on Sunday March 8, 2026. Preceded in Death by his parents Charles and Marcella Carroll McSwigan; as well as siblings Father James McSwigan C.Ss.R and Charles McSwigan Jr.. Survived by his children Joann (David), James (Jeannine), David Paul (Laurie), Kevin (Tara); Grandchildren Caitlyn, Lindsay, Lauren, Lila, Norah, Claire and Kevin; also survived by his sister Mary "Sis" Dupre. David proudly served our Country in the Navy from 1955 to 1959 and after he worked as a City of Pittsburgh Firefighter for over 25 years. 
Friends will be received on Thursday from 3 to 7 in The Edward P. Kanai Funeral Home 500 Greenfield Ave. 15207. Funeral Friday at 9:30am in the funeral home followed by a funeral mass at 10am in the St. Paul Cathedral Parish St Rosalia worship site.
