Donald "Donnie" Cashman of Hazelwood, age 43, passed away on June 7, 2026.

Those who knew Donnie well knew he was a man whose presence could be felt the moment he entered a room. He was known for his loyalty, humor, charm, and unforgettable smile.

Donnie was a lifelong animal lover, a trait he instilled in his daughter and shared with his mother and sisters. He loved to tell stories and share memories, from the tallest of tales told just for the laughs to the moments of chaos that life often threw his way. Donnie wanted to share it all. He had a way of making every experience resonate with those around him.

Donnie leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and countless memories that will be cherished by all who knew him. Though his absence leaves an immeasurable void, his spirit will continue to live on through the lives he touched and the love he gave so freely.

He is survived by his beloved daughter, Bella Cashman (mother, Christy Korbelic); his parents, Donald and Patricia Cashman; his sisters, Stacy and Kelly Cashman; his nieces, Joesy and Maddie Bergstein; and his lifelong friend, Jason Kelly, who remained by his side until the very end. He is also survived by many other family members and friends who loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Cashman; his aunts, Mary Jo Malesky and Donna Cashman Tompkins; and a man he helped raise as the son he always wanted, Devin Wheeler, along with many other loved ones who welcomed him home.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who offered support, prayers, kindness, and compassion during this difficult time.

Though we grieve the loss of Donnie, we find comfort in knowing that love does not end with death. May his memory be a blessing.

Friends will be received on Saturday, June 13th, 2026, from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. in the Edward P. Kanai Funeral Home, 500 Greenfield Ave. 15207. A Blessing Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the Funeral Home.
