Edward Harbist

Edward Harbist 88, of Greenfield. On Wednesday May 15, 2024. Preceded in death his loving parents Peter and Mary Harbist, and brothers Peter Jr. and John. Survived by brother, Frank “Whitey” (Marianne) Harbist. Also survived by niece Susan (Bill) Vanselow; and nephews John (Elizabeth) Harbist and Frank (Martha) Harbist and their families. Ed graduated from Allderdice High School and Carnegie Tech (CMU). Ed worked 42 years as an electrical engineer with Westinghouse. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 4-8 P.M. In the Edward P. Kanai Funeral Home 500 Greenfield Ave. 15207. A Parastas will take place at 7P.M. on Wednesday. Funeral service on Thursday at 10 A.M. at St John Chrysostom B.C. Church. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
