Edward "Ed" Startari

Startari Edward “Ed” 82 of Squirrel Hill, formerly of Hazelwood. Passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 7, 2023. Preceded in death by his beloved wife Joan (Hydeck) Startari. Survived by his loving children, Lori Hills and Jill Zito; grandchildren, Lani (Erik) Redinger, Amber (Chris) Cole, Perry (Meghan) Hills Jr., and Ashley Zito; great grandchildren, Bodhi Redinger, and Lucas and Conor Cole. Ed worked at Bacharach Inc. as a Senior Vice President of Operations for 30 years. He later worked at CCAC as a tutor for adults needing learning support. He loved to play the saxophone, and was passionate about boxing in his youth.  He was a man of God and a strong family man. His Funeral will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. in St. Paul Cathedral Parish—St. Rosalia Worship Site.
