Edward "Eddie" Bowler

Edward “Eddie” Bowler on February 2nd, 2021 in Plano, TX formerly of Greenfield and Lawrenceville, PA. Born on October 26, 1919 to the late Edward A. and Catherine (Riegel) Bowler and son-in-law of the late Frank and Pauline (Gayar) Kuba.   

Husband of 79 years to Bernadine “Betty” Kuba.  Father of Marleen (John) Byrne of Plymouth, MI and Carol (Frank) McElligott of Plano, TX.  “Eddie” to grandchildren John (Kristin) Byrne of Troy MI, Rebecca (Steven) Schiffer of McKinney Tx, and Edward “Bowie” McElligott of Plano, TX.  Great-grandfather to Sarah (Jesse) Avendano of East Lansing MI, Justin Byrne of Troy MI, and Molly Schiffer of McKinney TX.  Brother of Rita Lorraine (Bernard) Leff and the late Margaret (Lawrence) Wolff. Nephew of the late Margaret (Michael) Conway and the late Emma (Dennis) O’Conner. Also, survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was a proud WWII veteran who served in both European and Pacific theaters. In Europe, he served under Gen. Patton where he was awarded five bronze stars. He was a longtime employee of the Joseph Moidel Co. Funeral services will be private. Arrangements entrusted to the Edward P. Kanai Funeral Home.
