Frances T. Clancy, of Williamsburg, Virginia, formerly of the Pittsburgh neighborhood of Point Breeze, died peacefully, on February 1st , in the company of her devoted son in law, Kenneth Albert, following a prolonged period of declining health. She was preceded in death by her Husband Thomas, a retired Firefighter, in 2005, and her loving daughter, Patricia Ann Clancy Albert, in May of 2023. She is survived by Patricia’s husband, Kenneth Albert of Williamsburg, VA. Additionally, she is also survived by five children and their spouses: Dr. Matthew Clancy MD, (Luzviminda), Thomas M. Clancy ,Jr., (Ellen), Julia Clancy-Spadone (Thomas), Kevin P. Clancy (Susan), Patrick T. Clancy (Terri), and her 14 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Frances is survived by two siblings, Evelyn Taylor (Robert) of Baldwin PA. and Julia Powell of Galway Ireland. Frances was primarily a housewife and homemaker, but frequently worked outside the home to provide supplemental support to her family. Frances, a proud, naturalized US citizen, was born and raised in Salthill, Galway Ireland, and emigrated. to the US at the age of twenty-two. She spent many of her last years in the Naples and Ft. Meyers regions of Florida. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. In the Edward P. Kanai Funeral Home 500 Greenfield Ave. 15207. Funeral Thursday at 9:15 A.M. in the funeral home with Funeral mass at 10 A.M. at St. Bede Catholic Church, 509 S. Dallas Ave., Pittsburgh, PA.
