Halapin, Frances V. 86, of West Mifflin formerly of Homestead. Passed peacefully on Sunday September 1, 2024. Proceeded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years Andrew M. Halapin, and parents George and Elizabeth Valko. Survived by her loving children Andrew (Lynn) Halapin, Carolyn (Michael) Roper, Beth Ann Stephan. Beloved Grandmother of AJ (Lindsey) Merzlak, Jordan (Megan) Oeler, Charles (Caet) Halapin, Paul (Amber) Halapin, Nicolas (Kaya) Merzlak, Mitchell (Laura) Oeler, Adeline Roper. Great Grandmother of Henry, Tanner, George, and Amelia. Also survived by sister Betty Ann (Ronald) Orkis, and Brother George (Cindy) Valko and multiple nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the Edward P. Kanai Funeral Home, 500 Greenfield Ave. Pittsburgh, PA 15207. Funeral will be Monday in the Funeral Home with Divine Liturgy at 10 a.m. in St. John Chrysostom Church.
