George Galvanek, 82, of Greenfield, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones. Preceded in death by his beloved wife of 54 years, Charlotte Galvanek; his son, Georgie; his parents Paul and Helen Galvanek, brothers Robert Galvanek and Paul Galvanek. He is survived by his beloved daughters, Kristin Galvanek, Shannon (Michael) Eisenberg, and Beth (Chris) Haag; his loving grandchildren, Ryan, Chloe, Michael, and Georgia “Kota”; sister Barbara Galvanek and sister-in-law Gene Galvanek and numerous nieces and nephews. Also survived by his furry friend Stella. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Edward P. Kanai Funeral Home, 500 Greenfield Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15207. A Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in the Funeral Home.
