Gregory P. Rim Sr. 69 of Greenfield passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday July 22, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. Preceded in death by his loving partner Elizabeth Gullace, parents Joseph and Margaret Rim, brother Joseph Rim and brother-in-law George Kranack. Survived by his loving children, Christina Michel, Greg Rim Jr., Steven Karafa and Michael (Darian Barnhart) Rim. Loving Pap of Kaley, Hanna and Hunter. Siblings Susan (Thomas) Kohser, Christopher (Joan) Rim and Catherine Kranack. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Gregory was a man who found his greatest peace and joy in the outdoors. An avid hunter and fisherman, he spent countless seasons tracking the woods and casting lines in Forest County, creating lasting memories in nature. Above all, he cherished his family.

Friends will be received on Monday from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm in The Edward P. Kanai Funeral Home 500 Greenfield ave. 15207. A blessing service will take place on Tuesday at 10am in the funeral home.
