Guy DeLuca Jr. Obituary

Guy “Buddy” DeLuca, Jr. (75) of Forest Hills used to say his obituary should read: "He died, all gone."  However, as a beloved family man and friend, his life deserves more acknowledgement.  Buddy died peacefully in his home on November 26, 2022, surrounded by family. He was a man full of humor, wisdom, and was as stubborn as he was loving. His magnetic personality was known to raise people's spirits with epic one-liners that will live on through his family and friends.  From a young age, Buddy was a well-known bowler, even competing for Team USA and the US Army, and later earning a seat in the Robert Morris and Greater Pittsburgh USBC Hall of Fames.  Buddy loved taking his family on vacation to Cancun, which he considered his second home. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Priscilla, children Dean DeLuca (Sara) and Mandi DeVito (AJ), his grandson Luca, and sister Myra Landau. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. in the Edward P. Kanai Funeral Home 500 Greenfield Ave. 15207. Funeral Thursday at 9:30 A.M. with Funeral Mass at 10A.M. in St Paul Cathedral Parish St Rosalia Worship Site.  In lieu of flowers, Buddy has asked for donations to the American Kidney Fund.
