Helen Florkowski

Florkowski Helen 95, of Squirrel Hill. Passed peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on Saturday, December 7, 2019. Helen served as an Ophthalmic Technician for many years at St. Francis Hospital (now UPMC) and Dr. C. William Weisser, Ophthalmic Medical Practice; and was Co-Proprietor of Adam’s Furniture Clinic. She was a long-time member of St. Rosalia’s Catholic Church. Preceded in death by her beloved husband Adam J. Florkowski Sr., son Adam J. Flokowski Jr. and siblings John Kleca, Ann Mazzocco and Joseph Kleca. Survived by her loving children Stanley Florkowski, Mary (John) Gardell and Victoria (John) Levitske. Loving Gram of Christine (Brian) Toomey, Teresa (John) Mackey, John (Kristin) Gardell, Valerie Knapp, Adam F. Florkowski, Joseph (Lisa) Gardell, Kimberly Gardell, Michael (Ashley) Gardell, Cassandra Levitske, Jonathan Levitske and Krystal Levitske. Kanai Funeral Home, 500 Greenfield Ave. 15207. Closing prayers in the Funeral Home on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Rosalia Church.
