Irene Stacer Obituary

Stacer Irene 99, formerly of Greenfield. Passed peacefully on Monday, October 12, 2020. Preceded in death by her husband John Stacer; parents Leon and Josephine Yagmin; and sister Agnes Yagmin. Survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Irene was a proud member of our greatest generation serving in WWII serving in the European Theater as a member of the 59th Evacuation Hospital. She was a graduate of Mercy School of Nursing and Duquesne University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She continued to serve Veterans by working at the VA Hospital. Friends will be received on Wednesday, October 21st from 10-12 p.m. for visitation in the Edward P. Kanai Funeral Home, 500 Greenfield Ave. 15207. A Blessing Service will follow at 12 p.m.
