James "Jim" Deasy

Deasy James P. “Jim” 85, of Greenfield. Passed unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 1, 2020. Preceded in death by his siblings Thomas, William, Esther, Patrick, Peggy and his great grandson Levi. Survived by his loving wife of 59 years Helen Dobi Deasy; beloved children James (Ellen), Esther (John) Peyton, Joseph (Carol), John (Desiree), Lorraine (Stephen) Scabora, Bridget (James) Mahony, Kevin, Mary Ann (Robert) Hatala, Helen (Edward) Monroe, and Brenda (John) Bonacci. Loving Grandpap of Corey (Christy), Lauren (Reuben), Grace, Olivia, Shea, Jason, Matthew, Kimberly, Melissa, Christina, Joseph, Kelly, Kristen, Bridget, Erin, Ryan, Quinn, Karson, Stephen, Shannon, Michael, Patrick, Alaina, Willie, Maggie, Jack, Chelsea (Brandon), Robert, Nicholas, Evelyn, Sophia, Emily, Mary Kate, Dominic, James, and Johnny. Great Grandpap of Lana, Naomi, Jason, Bailey, Cameron, and Brandon. Also survived by his sister Mary Rush as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Thursday from 2-8 p.m. in the Edward P. Kanai Funeral Home, 500 Greenfield Ave. 15207. Please meet at St. Rosalia Church on Friday at 10 a.m. for a Funeral Mass.
