Joan L. Weir

Joan L. Weir 95, of Irwin formerly of Greenfield and West Homestead. Passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday October 21, 2025. Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 61 years William Weir, and sister Mary Kay Clanton. Survived by her loving daughters Pamela (Edward) Barger and Cheryl E. Weir and beloved grandma of Emily (Ian) Barger. Also survived by her sister-in-laws Marjorie Weir Lewis and Mary Sarah Weir Casey and numerous nieces and nephews. Joan was an avid Steeler and Penguins fan and took great pride in taking care of her family. Friends will be received on Friday from 4-8 P.M. in the Edward P. Kanai Funeral Home 500 Greenfield Ave. 15207. Funeral Saturday at 9:30 in the funeral home with funeral mass at 10 A.M. in St Paul Cathedral Parish St Rosalia Worship Site.
