John Blicha

Blicha John 84, of the Run in Greenfield. Passed peacefully on Monday, May 9, 2022. Survived by his beloved children, Stephen J. Blicha, Kimberly (Paul Allen Smith) Blicha, and Karen Lynn (Jeff) Khoury; grandchildren, Stephany, Arik, and Serra; and Sister, Grace Waters. John proudly served as a Pittsburgh Police Officer for 23 years. After he retired, he went on to work for The U.S. Marshalls for 21 years. He took pride in being born and raised in “The Run”. Everyone who knew John, loved him. He was a friendly Greenfield fixture, as he enjoyed meeting people and getting to know them.  Friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in The Edward P. Kanai Funeral Home, 500 Greenfield Ave. 15207. Parastas at 7 p.m. Funeral Friday at 9:30 a.m. in the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. John Chrysostom Church.
