John M Lisak

John Lisak 77 of Pittsburgh, formally of Greenfield. On January 10, 2025, surrounded by his loving family, John passed into eternal life. Preceded in death by his parents John and Mary Lisak, and brother Frank. Survived by his beloved wife and best friend of 54 years Marcia Lisak. He will be truly missed by his children Jeff (Erin) and Amy (Kevin); grandchildren Rob (Emily), Jake (Alexa), Hailey, Mason, Connor, Alexis, Ally, Kevin, Kyler, and the joy of his existence, great grandson, Owen. Also survived by his brother Tom (the late Alice), Lisak, sister-in-laws Lisa (Tim) and Diane (the late Ken), and numerous nieces and nephews. Family meant everything to John, and he always loved when everyone came over for a big party. The more often that happened, the happier he was. John was a proud graduate of Central Catholic High School and the University of Pittsburgh. John was also an avid golfer, always striving for a better round, a bowler, always looking for the 300 game, and longtime fisherman, just for the fun of it. Friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M.in the Edward P Kanai Funeral Home 500 Greenfield Avenue 15207. Funeral mass Friday at 12 PM, St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church in Baldwin, please meet at church.
