John C. Tihey

John C. Tihey Age 79, of Plum, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by family, on November 15th, 2025. Beloved husband of 54 years to Mary Ann (Kacsuta) Tihey; loving father of Erika (Steve) Knowles and Adam Tihey. Survived by sisters Jan (Jerry) Smith and Mary Ellen Stinger. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and their families. John was preceded in death by his mother Mary Ann (Kipe), father William, and brothers James (Jimmy) and Michael. John Attended Taylor Allderdice High School. He also served 4 years in the United States Air Force. Friends will be received on Friday from 2-8 p.m. in the Edward P. Kanai Funeral Home, 500 Greenfield Ave. 15207. A Blessing Service will be held in the evening in the Funeral Home following Visitation.
