John R. Stacer

Stacer John R. 98. Formerly of Homestead. Passed peacefully on May 13, 2019. Survived by his beloved wife of 67 years Irene (Yagmin) Stacer, many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces, and great great nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Ella and Francis Stacer, siblings Mary Agnes, Margaret (Stacer) Geary, Regis, Leonard, George, Francis, and Leo Stacer. John proudly served our country in WWII in the 8th Army Air Corps, promoted to the rank of sergeant and was stationed in England. Friends will be received on Monday at 8-9:30 Am in the Edward P. Kanai Funeral Home, 500 Greenfield Ave. 15207. Funeral at 9:30 Am followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 Am in St. Rosalia Church. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Humane Society.
