Karen Vilsack Obituary

Vilsack Karen, of Greenfield. Passed peacefully on Saturday, August 15, 2020. Preceded in death by her parents Francis and Elizabeth DeFranc and brother Eugene DeFranc. Survived by her loving husband of 45 years Regis Vilsack; brother Ronald (Leslie) DeFranc, nieces and nephews Billy DeFranc, Jeffrey Adam DeFranc, Lindsay Hadlock, Bradley DeFranc, William Vincent DeFranc; god children Julie Dunn and Lauren Tusky; brother in law Eugene (Sandy) Vilsack and sister-inlaws Mary Catherine Smigiel and Susan Marcus. Karen was a volunteer at St. Teresa of Avila bingo for 40 years and Bishop Canevin bingo for 10 years. Along the way Karen made some great friends who will dearly miss her. A Mass will be held on Saturday, August 29th at 10 a.m. in St. Teresa of Avila Church. Arrangements entrusted to the Edward P. Kanai Funeral Home, 500 Greenfield Ave. 15207.
