Kenneth Gondol

Kenneth M. Gondol, after a long illness on Thursday, August 22nd, 2024, age 67. Beloved husband of Debra (Schmoutz) Gondol. Loving father of Kristin Gondol. Son of the late John “Maka” and Julia (Beley) Gondol. Brother of Andrew and John M. Gondol Jr, and the late Oreen. Brother-in-law of Jean (the late Denny) Gasbarro, Joan (Michael) Greives, David (Heather) Schmoutz. Uncle of Joshua, Cynthia, Warren, and Jordan. Ken was a beloved brother, father, and husband. He loved sports, especially Pittsburgh sports, Steelers, Penguins, Pirates, Passions, River Hounds. He was a proud Penn State graduate, “Hail Pitt” was never said in the family home. His passion in life was golf. He was awarded a golf scholarship While he was at Taylor-Alderdice the golf team was undefeated. He would do anything for his family. He loved to host parties at his house.   Friends will be received on Monday from 2-8 p.m. in the Edward P. Kanai Funeral Home, 500 Greenfield Ave. 15207. A Blessing Service will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in the Funeral Home.
