Kanai (Fries) Mary Katherine, unexpectedly on Thursday June 16, 2022. Age 74 of Pleasant Hills, formerly of Brentwood. Beloved wife of David M. Kanai. Loving mother of Brian (Pam) and Kevin Kanai. Cherished Grammy of April Kanai. Daughter of the late Thomas and Marcella Fries. Sister of Thomas (Karen) Fries, William (Irene) Fries, Terrance (Lynn) Fries, Ann (Gibby) Goodworth, Marcella (Larry Davis) Fries, and Julie Fries. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws. Friends will be received on Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. in the Edward P. Kanai Funeral Home 500 Greenfield Ave. 15207. Funeral Tuesday at 9:30 A.M. with funeral mass at 10 A.M. at St. Paul Cathedral parish St Rosalia worship site.
