Michael "Mike" McGeever

McGeever, Michael ‘Mike” 86 of Monroeville, formerly of Pittsburgh. Passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Saturday August 1, 2020. Preceded in death by his parents Michael and Mary McGeever. His brothers Rodger, Thomas, Patrick, and sister Mary. Survived by his loving wife of 55 years Catherine (Gallagher) McGeever. Loving father of Maureen (McGeever) Regrut, Michael, and Tricia (Michael) Santelli. Devoted Grandfather of Erin, Mia, Maura, and Kaitlyn. Michael was born in Cloontia, County Mayo, Ireland. He worked at Mercy Hospital for 36 years as a plumber, he considered Mercy his second home where he would put a smiles on many peoples faces. Mike was also a proud member of the local 95 of Operating Engineers, the Ancient Order of Hibernians Division #9, and The All Ireland  Athletic Association. Friends will be received on Thursday from 3-7 P.M. in the Edward P. Kanai Funeral Home 500 Greenfield Ave. 15207. Closing prayers at 9:30 A.M in the Funeral Home on Friday followed by Funeral Mass in St Rosalia Church at 10A.M.
