Michael “Wrigs” Wrigley, 62, of Greenfield, went to be with the Lord on February 16, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Born on September 14, 1963, he was the beloved son of the late Robert (“Bob”) and Evelyn (“Jane”) Wrigley and a cherished brother to many. Known to many as “Wrigs,” Michael was a devoted husband to Sheila and a proud, loving father to Courtney. Being a father was his greatest joy, and he poured his heart into his family, especially through coaching softball and always being present in the moments that mattered most. Michael served for 37 years as a dedicated and proud Laborer and Business Agent for Local Laborers’ Union 373. He was respected for his strong work ethic, loyalty, and compassionate spirit. He loved fishing, enjoyed sports, and treasured time with his family. Known for his quiet, kind, humble, and God-fearing heart, Michael made everyone feel welcome. In addition to his wife and daughter, he is survived by his siblings, extended family, and many dear friends who will miss him deeply.
Though he has gone to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, his love and spirit will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Michael’s life on Sunday, February 22, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at The Edward P. Kanai Funeral Home 500 Greenfield Ave. 15207.
A Blessing Service will take place on Monday morning at 10am in the Funeral Home.
