Raymond Legnine, 86 of Pittsburgh. Passed peacefully on Wednesday, May 20th, 2026. Preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Celeste Legnine; siblings, Carl Legnine, Francis Mangus, Mary Kish, Anthony Legnine. Survived by the mother of his children, Joan Legnine; brother Frank Legnine; his beloved children, Raymond (Olivia) Legnine, Vincent (Elizabeth) Legnine, and Charlene White; loving grandchildren, Anthony and Marco Legnine, and Patrick Vidal, Vincent, Blane and Alexandria Legnine, Angelica Proviano, and Kevin, Sean, Zachary, and Ryan White; sister-in-law, Barbara Legnine. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.
Raymond had a love of ballroom dancing and was enthusiastic about perfecting his dance moves and teaching them to anyone willing to take his hand. He spent 45 years of his life as a diesel mechanic, and he proudly served his country in the All-American Airborne Division.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, May 26th, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Edward P. Kanai Funeral Home, 500 Greenfield Ave. 15207. A Blessing Service will be held in the Funeral Home at 12:30 p.m. followed by interment in Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 718 Hazelwood Ave. 15217.
