Robert A. Gavel, Sr. “Gumps” 79, of Greenfield. Passed peacefully after a brief illness on Tuesday, May 16th, 2023. Preceded in death by his parents, Andrew, and Mary Gavel; siblings, Andrew, Jr., Mary Ann Kensinger and Patricia Egyud. Survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Judith Gavel; his loving son Robert (Tiffany) Gavel, Jr.; beloved grandchildren, Stella, and Lola; sisters, Joan “Jo-Jo” Love and twin sister Roberta Gavel. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. in the Edward P. Kanai Funeral Home, 500 Greenfield Ave. 15207. Funeral Friday 10:30 a.m. in the Funeral Home followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Paul Cathedral Parish -- St. Rosalia Worship Site.
