Roseann G. "Skip" Kanai

Kanai Roseann G. “Skip” 71, of Plum formerly of Hazelwood. Passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday, November 9th, 2022. Preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Stella Giordano Sr. and brother Frank Giordano Jr. Survived by her loving husband, of 46 years, Donald Kanai; beloved daughter Stefanie Kanai; as well as numerous brother and sister-in-law’s, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Skip was an animal lover, shopping fanatic, and avid gambler who enjoyed trips to the casino. She was fiercely protective of her family, and took up for those she cared for.  Friends will be received on Monday, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the Edward P. Kanai Funeral Home, 500 Greenfield Ave. 15207. Funeral Tuesday, at 9:30 a.m. in the Funeral Home followed by Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Paul Cathedral—St. Rosalia Worship Site.
