Shirley Labishak

Shirley Labishak (Knafler) 88 of Greenfield, passed away on Wednesday, July 17th, 2024. Preceded in death by her beloved husband of almost 70 years, Michael Labishak Sr.; siblings, Helen Behun, Carel Wirtz, Dorothy Strube, and Rudolph Knafler. Survived by her loving children Linda (Jim) Panaia, Michael Jr. (Cindy), Patty (Dave) Rath, Danny (Bridget), and Margaret (Steve) Barton; 12 beloved grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and sister, Barbara Tallon. As the heart of our home and family, Shirley was a wonderful mother who was always offering support, wisdom, and love. Shirley enjoyed having her family and friends around her and loved cooking and baking. She will be remembered for her kind heart and always feeding everyone that came through her door. Arrangements are entrusted to The Edward P. Kania Funeral Home, 500 Greenfield Ave. 15207. Internment will be held on Thursday, August 22 at 1 p.m. in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. The family asks that all who attend wear something bright in memory of Shirley's love of bright colorful clothing.
