Thomas H. Meade

Thomas Howard Meade 76, of Washington PA formerly of the South Side. Passed peacefully after a 6-year battle with cancer on Sunday, March 2nd, 2025. Preceded in death by his brothers, Francis Meade and James Meade, and his brother-in-law, Robert Ziegler. Survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Elizabeth (Beaver) Meade; loving daughter, Tracie Ballock and, his granddaughter, Gabriella, the apple of his eye. Also survived by his siblings, Mary Kay Ziegler, William (Debbie) Meade, Judy (Jeffrey) Mahouski, and Margaret (Paul) Kuchta, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Tom Proudly served his country during the Vietnam War where he was awarded two Purple Hearts. He was an avid Steelers fan holding season tickets with his friends for years. Friends will be received on Saturday, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the Edward P. Kanai Funeral Home, 500 Greenfield Ave. 15207. Funeral Monday at 9:30 a.m. in the Funeral Home, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St Paul Cathedral Parish—St. Rosalia Church Worship Site. No visitation Sunday.
