William P. "Sweetness" King, 86, of Greenfield, died peacefully on Wednesday, April 1, 2020. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Joan King, his son Brian King, parents Bart and Ethel King and siblings, Patricia Barker, James and Richard King, Elizabeth Kincaid and Janet Pavlot. Loving father of Lisa (John) King-Goodwin, Edward King, and Kevin (Robin) King; grandfather of Christopher (Jessi) Valentino and Kyle King. Survived by his loving brothers and sisters, Bart (Sue) King, John (Bettijean) King, Mary Ann (Rege) Kearns, Peter (Carol) King and Gerard (Ann) King, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, November 27th in the EDWARD P. KANAI FUNERAL HOME, 500 Greenfield Ave. Funeral at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 28th in St. Paul Cathedral, St. Rosalia Church worship site.
