WILLIAM C. EDWARDS

William (Bill) Edwards passed away at the age of 89 on June 17, 2021 at his residence in Moon Township, PA.  Bill was born in 1932 to Mary and Arthur Edwards in Pittsburgh, specifically Greenfield/Hazelwood area.  He had one sister – Eleanor.  For the majority of Bill’s life, he resided in Greenfield with his family.  

Bill graduated from Taylor Allderdice High School and attended Penn State University briefly before serving his county in the Korean war.  He was a proud Army veteran.   For most of his career, Bill worked in the insurance industry.   Bill enjoyed music, played the saxophone, and liked watching sports - especially the Steelers.

Bill is survived by his wife Noreen and they celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on June 3.  He is also survived by his son Bill and grandson Matthew.   There will only be a private viewing for the family.
