William "Boo Boo" Carey

William "Boo Boo" Carey, 81, passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family. Boo Boo was a true spitfire whose larger-than-life personality brought joy and laughter wherever he went. He was always the life of the party, known for his quick wit, infectious sense of humor, and the ability to make everyone around him smile. His presence could light up any room, and the memories he created with family and friends will be treasured forever.

Above all, Boo Boo was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and family man. He is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Carol Carey; his two sons, Shawn Carey and his fiancée Tandy McCloskey, and Kevin John Carey and his wife, Lisa. He also leaves behind six cherished grandchildren, Shannon, Billy, Nicole, Sammy, Marie, and Aidan, who brought him endless pride and happiness. Boo Boo’s legacy lives on through the love he shared, the laughter he inspired, and the countless lives he touched. Though he will be deeply missed, his family finds comfort in knowing that he passed peacefully, surrounded by those who loved him most. Friends will be received on Wednesday, from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. in the Edward P. Kanai Funeral Home, 500 Greenfield Ave. 15207. A Blessing Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. in the Funeral Home.
