I am sorry about your loss. Death is always difficult to deal with, no matter the circumstances. Even though I did not know Florence, I try my best to encourage the bereaved with a comforting thought from God's word the bible.
Notice these encouraging words from the bible book of John 17:3. It reads, "This means everlasting life, their coming to know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ." Everlasting life is a promise for us all, including those who are asleep in death. This provides a true hope for us to be with our loved ones again.
I hope this brief thought from God's word the bible provides some comfort. More information can be found at www.jw.org.
