Hello Wayne--
My condolences on the death of your Dad. It sounds like he had quite the life including a stint as a journalist which was something I was supposed to do but never did. I lost my Dad over 20 yrs. ago but still feel his influence regularly. I'm sure it will be the same for you.
It would be good to get together sometime as I still remember you as one of my favorite classmates starting in 8th grade through high school. Take care and again my condolences.

To Flo and the Kelly Family
I want to express my sincere condolences to you and your family.
There weren't many people that could sneak past the Den on Doyle Avenue without becoming friends with or at least engaging in a short conversation with Mr. Kelly. This man was a perfect example of the seven virtues, but what stood out the most was his patience, and kindness. Although he loved his family more than anything, and that would keep most people busy for a lifetime, he always had enough time to spread even more love to others. I am forever thankful to have had him in my life!!
May you all be comforted by the outpouring of love surrounding you.

We are very sorry for your loss. He has set a huge example to follow and definitely an inspiration to your family, especially in his Catholic faith. Just reading his obituary, is an inspiration to us. It would have been a joy to have known him.

To Mary Beth and Family -- what a life your father lived! What a legacy he leaves behind! Praise God that this wonderful man was such an example of faith, family, and friends! May he continue to rest in the peace that we all hope and strive for one day. I am sure he was welcomed at the Gates of Heaven by Jesus! God bless you all.

I had the privilege of being an honorary member of the great Wayne & Flo Kelly family for many years. As such, my heart is heavy for the loss of Wayne from our lives, and am so damn grateful for knowing him. His positive sensibility and genuine love for others has been a blessing for all of us who knew and loved Wayne. Thanks to the Kelly family for sharing such a wonderful soul. ❤️

I (Barb) had the pleasure of knowing him from living on Doyle and spending lots of time at the "Kelly Mansion" playing in the catacombs and tree house. He was a man a quiet man that never raised his voice and was so easy going. He was greatly respected and will be sadly missed. Our prayers are with you.
